Zipper matters when you use smart accounts (contract accounts, on-chain rules, passkeys).What Zipper isProtocol 27 (Zipper) includes, among other work, CAP-71 — authentication delegation for custom accounts. In plain terms: smart (contract) accounts can cleanly delegate auth to other addresses, with better simulation, smaller txs, and less boilerplate than the old workarounds.

How the BluFabric agent uses it

Both modes may be on at once. When the agent pays, priority is:

Agent purse (Turnkey) if a key exists and is funded

Smart account if enabled (Zipper network)

“Zipper-style” policy vs on-chain ZipperIn the product we talk about mandates and a funded agent purse — delegated authority with limits. That product model is inspired by where Stellar is going (bounded agent authority). It is not the same as every payment using CAP-71 on-chain today.
